This is a TV commercial of Nissin Cup noodles aired in Japan in 2011. A cartoonist Takehiko Inoue appeared in the new CM of "Cup noodle" (Nissin Food Products).
Through a figure strongly depicting the protagonist / Musashi of his own masterpiece "Vagabond" on a huge campus with a height of 3 m and a width of 1.7 m, convey a hot message saying "There is a bottom power in this country." Musashi drew as a symbol of "what goes forward, whether it goes strong or not" completed in 12 hours.
Shooting was done with three cameras, from which the powerful scenes capturing the prayerful expressions and brushes are extracted, out of the 36 hours of tape. Inoue's appearance facing alone with a white campus and drawing with the whole body overwhelms the minds of the staff in the studio.
The concept of this CM "Now is the time to deliver the courage and hope to move forward" became a majestic work that is appropriate.
